Hi Crossley, I really like the way you used a web 2.0 site to create a visual of your pbl video analysis. When I asked you after your presentation last week you shared you used canvas correct? I have used several free web 2.0 tools to create infographics like this as well and I wanted to share them with you. piktochart, s'mores, and easel.ly are my three favorites. I've found our students appreciate the opportunities to create visuals outside of traditional powerpoints or five paragraph essays in their presentations and projects as well. I really like the way you used the structure of a menu to go through each of the three major parts of your reflection: appetizers(the plan), main course (the lesson), and desserts (the changes). You shared how after viewing and analyzing your video clip you targeted classroom management, specifically utilizing wait time with your students in order for them to engage and actively listen to the directions for their application and independent work the first time instead of you having to repeat them multiple times due to inattention. Let me know how I can support you in this and if you'd like me to suggest strategies or come and observe, etc. This is something we've all struggled with at some point in our teaching practice. Sincerely, Dawn
