Ashley Blackwelder Final Assignment

I created a visual for my final assignment, because my brain is only thinking in fragments and pictures at this point :) Here it is!  I had a great time working with you all this week and look forward to seeing you again soon!

What I Used to Think/What I Now Know

  1. Yes, Ashley, I agree the group has been amazing to work with! I think you hit it spot-on when you mentioned that we are taking a risk with our PBLs. And perhaps the risk-taking brings us closer together as a cohort. I really look forward to continuing this fall.

  3. I enjoy your use of technology in your response and in the project you planned for your students. Your students will enjoy your project and they might be inspired to be a photojournalist in the future.

  4. Ashley, I love your piktochart. The puzzle pieces really stuck with me. Thank you for your willingness to share your perspective on Sir Ken Robinson's words. I loved the "We Dream" picture. I want my students to take the chance to dream big. I know your students will have the opportunity to dream big as well. Enjoy the beginning of school and I will see you soon.

  5. Hi Ashley,
I really liked your piktochart and appreciate the many ways you showed your thinking and growth throughout the course. From reflections on the Profile of the SC graduate and connections to pbl to your take on Sir Ken Robinson's Ted Talk these sections of your piktochart were insightful. My favorite section was the 4 C's where you talked about how invaluable the collaboration was to you in this course and how that helped fuel your creativity and your critical thinking as you worked towards your pbl experience for your second graders. I can't wait to see what they create as photojournalists.

    Sincerely,
    Dawn
